A Taste of Norrviken
"We love food, we treat the ingredients with care, we enjoy bold flavors, and we don't complicate things unnecessarily, although we do like to experiment, primarily with slightly unusual combinations. We often head out to the garden or kitchen garden to pick flowers and leaves to enhance our dishes."
- Calle Örtendal, Head Chef, Orangeriet Restaurant
A Culinary Experience at Villa Abelin
Food is an essential part of the Norrviken experience – a place where history, nature, and flavours come together. In Villa Abelin, once the home of Rudolf Abelin, you’ll find both Restaurant Orangeriet and Salamander Café & Bar.
Orangeriet, with its generous glass walls, blurs the line between indoors and outdoors and offers a seasonal à la carte menu, where each dish is carefully crafted to reflect the character of the place. On the Italian terrace, you can enjoy your meal overlooking the Japanese Garden.
At Salamander Café & Bar, freshly baked treats and thoughtfully selected delights await – the perfect pause in the midst of the garden’s greenery.
The Culinary Journey Continues
Just outside the park, you’ll find RAVINEN Cultural Centre, offering well-crafted dishes in its bistro, where passionate artisans create meals with care and creativity, inspired by seasonal ingredients. Be sure to also enjoy delicious pastries while taking in the view over Laholm Bay.
At the Chocolaterie, chocolate takes center stage – here you’ll find delicate pralines, freshly baked goods, and light lunches in a relaxed and inviting atmosphere, perfect for indulging in sweet moments and refined flavours.
