A Weekend in Bloom
Spring has arrived at Norrviken, and the gardens are coming to life with fresh greenery and blossoming trees. The magnolias – the true primadonnas of the park – take center stage alongside cherry trees and the first vibrant colors of the season.
Stroll through the themed gardens, take a walk along the ridge, and let the feeling of spring set the pace. In the Apple Garden, an inspiring plant market awaits, where you can browse pelargoniums, magnolias, vegetables, and cuttings. Take a moment to relax while Aldo serves ice cream, coffee, pastries, and drinks from his cart. You’ll also find Per i Viken offering sweet treats and roasted almonds, and for both young and old who wish to linger a while, there are family games to enjoy together.
On Saturday, the programme also features the car exhibition Cars in Blooming Colours and a creative paper flower workshop for those who want to craft their own. On Sunday, a tractor parade rolls into the gardens, bringing a touch of nostalgia, while our gardeners are on site to share insights and tips. Join one of our guided tours highlighting the Molin Garden Room and the delicate beauty of spring in the themed gardens.
Create Your Own Crepe Paper Flower
Discover how simple and vibrant crepe paper can become in your hands. During the workshop, you will create a larger flower and receive step-by-step guidance in techniques that will help you continue crafting confidently at home.
All materials are included, and you will take home both your finished flower and a written guide.
Price: SEK 185 (including admission)

Discover the gardens with a guide
During the Spring Festival, you can join two different guided tours through Norrviken’s green garden rooms. In the Molin Garden Room, you’ll encounter harmonious design, lush greenery, and timeless aesthetics – a tribute to the craftsmanship of Ulla Molin and Signe Persson-Melin. This tour is free of charge.
You can also book the garden history walk The Delicate Charm of Spring, where you’ll follow the story of how Rudolf Abelin transformed his visions into Norrviken’s dream gardens. The walk takes you through the structured elegance of the baroque garden, flowing water features, Japanese influences, and sweeping views – all in the soft light of early spring.
A Weekend for Garden Lovers
During the Spring Festival, greenery takes center stage.
On Saturday, we invite you to a plant market – browse pelargoniums, magnolias, vegetables, cuttings, and other seasonal favorites. There’s something here for both dedicated collectors and curious beginners.
On Sunday, the conversation continues with Garden Talks. Our gardeners will be on site – ask your questions, get expert advice, and share thoughts about everything that grows.
