Spring Arrives at Norrviken
Spring is making its entrance at Norrviken, and the gardens slowly begin to awaken. Stroll through the themed gardens, follow the paths along the ridge, and let the first colors, scents, and light of the season set the tone for your visit.
During Easter, the park offers inspiration in many forms. Wander among exhibitions, pause for a moment in the greenery, and discover new perspectives as the season unfolds.
The Halm House opens its doors to The Gardener’s World – a place filled with plant life and echoes of history. Here, you can explore the story of Norrviken and its gardeners, while also discovering the adventures of plant hunters and the magical world of birds.

During the Easter weekend, there is plenty to explore. For younger visitors, playful experiences await – Easter bunnies roam the gardens, children can plant their own cuttings to take home, and the popular egg hunt turns the holiday into an adventure for the whole family.

Dahlias – Find Your Way to Grow
Book your spot for an inspiring talk on Friday with Sara Ljunggren from Fru Perenn, where dahlias take center stage. She shares her knowledge and experience on everything from tubers, care, and winter storage to propagation – with a focus on sustainable and joyful cultivation.
Whether you are a beginner or a more experienced grower, you will gain tools to find your own path to thriving dahlias.
Photo Booth at Erikshus
From Friday to Sunday, 10:00 AM–5:00 PM, the photo booth will be available at Erikshus. Take a break, gather family and friends, and capture the spirit of Easter in a photo. With the beautiful spring exhibition as your backdrop, you can create a personal photo strip to take home – a lovely memory from your day at Norrviken.
Camelia Talk
On Friday at 1:00 PM, we welcome you to an inspiring session at Erikshus together with Börje and Ann-Britt Pettersson, as well as Anneli Runesdotter Nickel, Head of Gardens at Norrviken. It was Börje and Ann-Britt who generously donated their private collection – around 60 camellia varieties gathered over 20 years – to Norrviken. Today, they bloom in our greenhouse, brightening the winter and early spring season.
Take the opportunity to listen, ask questions, and receive Börje’s best tips for successfully growing the magnificent camellia.
Flavours of Easter
At Orangeriet Restaurant, Easter is celebrated with the finest seasonal ingredients and classic flavours with a modern twist. On Wednesday and Thursday, an Easter-inspired lunch is served, and from Friday to Sunday, a traditional Easter buffet is laid out. Gather around the table and let the flavours of spring become part of your Norrviken experience.
Out in the park, Aldo’s cart will also be on site from Friday to Sunday, serving ice cream, coffee, pastries, and drinks – perfect for a sunny break or something to enjoy on your walk.

At Butik Norrviken, you’ll find beautiful spring details to set the tone for your Easter celebrations.
